Join the ITF Prayer Team!

Thank you for your interest in joining our prayer team!  Please read through the following guidelines carefully.

1. BE FAITHFUL IN PRAYER. By joining the ITF Prayer Team, you agree to faithfully pray for all requests that you receive in as timely a manner as possible.  It may be helpful to set aside a certain time of day to pray for the requests you receive.
2. CONFIDENTIALITY & SECURITY.  Our prayer team regularly receives confidential, personal information by e-mail.  Sometimes this information is of a highly sensitive nature.  By joining the ITF Prayer Team, you agree to keep all information you receive from the prayer request form completely confidential unless the person who submitted the prayer request specifically asks that we pass it on.  This includes making every effort possible to keep the e-mail address secure at which you will be receiving prayer requests.  Some of our prayer team members set up a new e-mail address just to manage prayer e-mails.  Free e-mail addresses are available at intotheflame.com for anyone who requests them.
3. PASSING IT ON. If and only if the submitter specifically requests that you pass the request on, please do so.  A list of prayer resources is available for you in our Links section.  Do not pass on the submitter's e-mail address unless they specifically request that you do so.
   
4. RESPECTFUL CONTACT WITH THE SUBMITTER. By joining the ITF Prayer Team, you agree not to contact the submitter unless they state in their request that they wish to be contacted.  You agree to treat all communication with the prayer request submitter with the utmost respect and care.  You also agree to keep all names, e-mail addresses, and any other contact information that you receive confidential.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you use any contact information, including names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, addresses, or any other information transmitted to you in the prayer request for any purpose other than replying to the submitter to let them know that you have prayed for them.  Do not use prayer request contact information to preach to the submitter or send them any form of unsolicited e-mail.
   
5. Any reported abuse of the above guidelines will result in removal from the prayer team membership.
