A Tent-Making Ministry
First and formost, Into the Flame Ministries strives to be a 'tent-making' ministry. The term 'tent-making' hails back to the apostle Paul, who supported his own ministry with his occupation as a tent-maker. Likewise, Into the Flame Ministries is supported primarily by our own income. I work as a graphic artist and website designer.
Please Note: Use of this website is free. It will always remain free. We have provided the use of forums, galleries, and all of our publication features free of charge. Furthermore, this website remains remarkably free from advertising, despite revenue it might generate, because we do not want to distract from the rich content that this website was created to publish.
That being said, there are a number of expenses that we incur as a result of this website and the local and online programs that we sponsor and participate in.

Our current general website operating costs are usually low, consisting mainly of website hosting fees, promotional materials and services, and the like. Our current costs for maintaining the website:

Local & Online Program Funding
We organize local and online programs that require more funding, such as small groups, retreats, bible studies, concerts of prayer, musical events, etc. These events are funded through several ways:

Our quick printing services are provided to us by CafePress.com, and all orders are handled securely on their servers. As with all of our methods of funding, 100% of all proceeds from our store go right back into this ministry.

Anytime you click through to Amazon.com from INTOTHEFLAME.COM and make a purchase, a small percentage of the purchase price comes back to Into the Flame Ministries as a referral fee that is paid to us quarterly.
These referral fees are used to purchase books and other media for Dive! and other local programs. Amazon.com doesn't give us a whole lot, but every little bit helps in funding the books and other media we need for small groups and other programs.

A Word About Accountability
I made a vow, years ago when I started writing music and poetry, that if I ever came to a point where my main reason for writing or performing music was just to make money, I would stop and never write or sing a note again. The same goes with this website. We would rather lose everything than gain anything falsely in the name of Christ.
We want to assure you that we take funding very seriously. We are held accountable by our local church leaders and mentors in the faith, and by our core prayer group. If you would like a complete funding statement showing exactly what we have received and how it has been used, please contact us and we will send you a copy.
