Who are we? We are a group of desperate people hungry after a dangerous God. Sinners all, we seek the Sinless. Stagnant, we seek the Author of real change. Suffering, we seek the only Source of true comfort.
We aren't satisfied with the status quo, the safety of empty tradition, or the pat answers of those who try to deny that suffering exists. We don't want a program, a package, or another parcel of empty promises. We want God Himself.
We throw ourselves into the arms of the suffering servant Jesus Christ, the dangerous God who consistently breaks down our barriers, destroys the little boxes we try to put Him into, and always defies our explanations. We rush boldly ahead into an uncertain future with the beautiful yet terrifying knowledge that we are being transformed, day by day.
We are not yet who we would be. Who we are, we are still becoming. We are fearful, we are frail, and we are not as strong as we think we are. Yet in our weakness we find His strength, and in our suffering we find the fellowship of His suffering.
If you're a perfect person, you're really going to have a hard time finding someone here you can relate to. But if you're an imperfect person, you are most definitely welcome.
