WE BELIEVE in GOD the FATHER, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love: that He concerns himself mercifully in the affairs of people; that He hears and answers prayer; that He saves from sin and death all who come to him through Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Way for salvation. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, His literal bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, His perpetual intercession for His people and His personal, visible return to earth in power and glory.
WE BELIEVE in the HOLY SPIRIT, who is sent out from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ; we believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit through the exercise of ALL of the Biblical spiritual gifts, as He equips His body (the Church) to carry out His will.
WE BELIEVE that the SCRIPTURES of the Old and New Testaments are the WORD OF GOD, fully inspired, and the infallible rule of faith and practice. We believe the Bible is continally watched over by God, and that, according to His promises, His Word will accomplish the purposes for which He sent it. We believe that the Scriptures are fundamentally of the Spirit, and are therefore hidden to the understanding of the natural man (2).
WE BELIEVE that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. We believe that He created time, the universe, and all that is encompassed within and without time and space, and we believe in the literal application of the Genesis account.
WE BELIEVE that all PEOPLE are sinners by nature and by choice and are therefore under condemnation; that God regenerates and baptizes by the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord, privately and publically (3). We believe that CHANGE is the fruit of true repentance, that a person who is really seeking to KNOW God cannot help but be changed by Him. (4)
WE BELIEVE in the Universal and True CHURCH, the living spiritual body, of which Christ Jesus is the Head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe that the True Church is known by God, and that the True Church knows God.
WE BELIEVE in the personal, visible, imminent APPEARING OF CHRIST to earth and the consummation of his kingdom; in the resurrection of the body, the final judgement, eternal blessing of the righteous and endless suffering of the wicked.
