This is Jason Hackwith from Into the Flame Ministries. I am so excited to tell you about what God has been doing in our lives lately.
We have just launched a brand new version of INTOTHEFLAME.COM. God has made it possible for us to do so much more than we ever anticipated. This latest version is faster, more reliable, and more full-featured than ever.
If you're a writer, an author, a poet, a musician, an artist, or anyone with a gift that you want to share, we've given you the tools to share your gifts with the world.
Just a few of the new features:
- NEW ITF.Media channels! Art, Photos, Music, Audio, Video, Downloads, and even more channels are coming soon! There isn't a whole lot up yet but more is coming very soon. We now have the tools to stream audio and video and have made all of these available to you.
- NEW Member Albums! We've opened up the member albums to every single registered user. That's right, EVERY person who registers on INTOTHEFLAME.COM gets their own album with 75 MB of space TO START! You can post pictures, audio, video, whatever you want into your very own album. If you're already a registered user, just go to http://www.intotheflame.com/mediagallery/enroll.php to get started.
- NEW RSS Feeds! Over 30 new RSS feeds have been generated! RSS = Really Simple Syndication, a technology that is revolutionizing the Web. Stay tuned for a special section that will show you how to broadcast content from INTOTHEFLAME.COM anywhere.
- NEW Prayer Resources! OnlinePrayerChain is now embedded within INTOTHEFLAME.COM so it is easy to view, post, and pray for prayer requests from all over the world!
- NEW Forums! The forums are back up with two new main sections: The Porch and The Upper Room. The Porch is open for anyone to post, on any subject, whether you've registered or not. The Upper Room was created as a special place just for ITF Members. Anything you post there will be viewable only by ITF Members. We hope to stimulate thoughtful discussion and create a safe place where you can vent, pray for each other, cry, laugh, learn, and grow.
- NEW Easy Publishing Features! Now it's easier than ever to publish to INTOTHEFLAME.COM. A built in rich text editor gives you more control than ever over your publications. Remember, you can submit content to just about every section of the website.
- NEW Member Levels! Formerly called Power Members, our core group of posters are now Charter Members. We're rewarding frequent contributers to INTOTHEFLAME.COM with DOUBLE the space in their Member Albums... and that's just for starters!
- NEW INSTANT REGISTRATION for LiveJournal and Blogger users! You can bypass the normal user validation process by changing your login service (in the User Functions box) from INTOTHEFLAME.COM to Blogger or LiveJournal. When you enter your username and password from either of these sites, our system will query Blogger or LiveJournal to see if your username & password are valid. It will then store that username and password securely in our database and log you on to INTOTHEFLAME.COM. You don't have to wait for an e-mail with your password!
If you're getting this e-mail and you've never been able to complete the registration process and log in to INTOTHEFLAME.COM, you can reset your password quickly and easily by going to http://www.intotheflame.com/users.php?mode=getpassword
Just enter EITHER your username or the email address you used to register (hint: it should be the email you're receiving this at) and click "Email Password). You should get a new email with instructions for resetting your password.
